The Ghana Highway Authority, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), has donated food items to selected underprivileged institutions, to commemorate its 50th Anniversary this year, which will be climaxed in November 2024.

The items, which were donated to Osu Children’s Home, Dzorwulu Special School, and Weija Leprosarium, included some bags of rice, boxes of mackerel, and vegetable oil.
Mr. Cecil Nii Obodai Wentum, the Ag. Director of the Public Affairs Division, speaking during the donation exercise noted that the gesture was in support of the good work being done at the various facilities. He also reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to supporting future projects.

At Osu Children’s Home, the Center Manager, Reindorf Dartey, expressed his gratitude to the Authority for considering the challenging needs of the Center and extending this support.

At the Dzorwulu Special School, Mr. Frederick Tetteh, the Headmaster of the school, extended their appreciation to the Authority for the donation. He used the occasion to pray for the Board, Management, and staff of the Authority for their benevolence.

At Weija Leprosarium, the Head of the facility, Father Campbell, who received the items thanked the team. He stated that the facility has some branches in other regions and they would also benefit from this donation.
